Guest blog: Prof. Tod Linafelt
We got the opportunity to have a guest blogger from Georgetown University, no other than Professor Tod Linafelt. Here is what he has to say about our stay in his and his wife Becky's house right outside Washington DC.
The Swedes have arrived.
They are very strange.
Fredrik keeps wanting to sit around with his shirt off. He's very well built, but still... He also keeps asking for meat balls, and sending us out for more hair dye. Sara is somewhat more normal. She has asked Fredrik to please keep his shirt on. And she is very sweet to Eleanor, our daughter. But she can't stop complaing that none of our food is as good as the moose meat that her Pappa shoots and cooks for her. She tried to buy a rifle the other day and go hunting here -- but ended up shooting at our neighbor's dog, saying "these are the smallest darn moose I've ever seen." And our phone bill to Iowa has gotten very pricey.

Now we got some real truth when a guest blogger appears! Sad that when Sara, after some years trying, was nominatet to our hunting team this fall some team member had notice that Sara just shoot a american dog so she failed in the voting. She will not participate in the moose hunting this fall because of that. Sara, - it´s time to go home to Sweden and learn some real hunting from your father!
